A friend and I dinned in yesterday night, and for a Saturday night it was pretty busy. Despite that, our wait time was about 30 minutes, and the food still came out fairly fast! The rolls were really good (especially compared to You Me Sushi)! My favorite rolls are the Rainbow and Tsukiji. The sashimi and miso soup (not pictured) was a little bland in my opinion, but I'll definitely be back and give it another try. The other sides were pretty good too and for an AYCE restaurant, the steak hibachi was chef's kiss. They also have really cute decor! And even though some of the booths are close by each other it wasn't too loud in the restaurant. Also, shout out to whoever was in charger of the music because they were playing bangers.
We were already planning our next visit while dining here. The sleek, industrial, yet still ethnic, furniture, decor, and design of the dining area is comfortable and a well thought out floor plan. Our party of 4 was greeted and seated in a fair amount of time for AYCE sushi. Everything was delicious and up to our standards. Our hostess, our server, and other servers were most kind and helpful. Some of the portions are smaller than what you normally would receive at a traditional restaurant, but understandable because you can reorder more if & when ready. Also, knowingly less waste with the small portions served if you want to try something new, (which I did.) We dined for dinner, but also requested the lunch menu to search any notable differences. The dinner menu has appetizer Ika Sansai (squid), the Sashimi menu, Hibachi Beef Short Ribs, Hibachi Asparagus, Hibachi Hamachi Kama (Grilled Yellowtail Collar), and Sirloin Beef Teriyaki Teppanyaki. The drink menu will be presented upon request. "Gochisosama deshita"
Pretty gas, went there and they give you so much food. So if you just wanna tear up some good Japanease food its the place
First off, highly recommend using the reservations online on their website! So you can get on the list & kill time while you wait as it usually is a long wait on Friday and weekends! Food comes out pretty quick after ordering! The rolls and food is decent like ramen, udon, and teriyaki don bowls! Flavorful broth. They had decent amount of indoor seating. Cute decor and cozy feel.. would make a cute date night! Our server Tysheen was amazing & attentive! Our kids love this place and you know when kids eat.. = happy parents! We will be back again!
I've retired from most AYCE spots, but Tsukiji is such a good value. Pretty much everything we tried (sashimi, sushi, rolls, etc.) was solid. I will say, the first time I was here the quality of the raw fish was just ok -- the second time was noticeably better. I like to stick to ordering sushi for the most bang for your buck, but was pleasantly surprised by the hibachi (grilled) steak and shrimp. Would definitely order those again. Our server was attentive and always available for ordering multiple rounds. There was no wait for an early dinner on Thursday. Seems like a good spot to bring large groups as well.
Oookkkaayyy, this will be my go to sushi spot! Everything on the menu is all you can eat!! First of its kind in Fresno. It's not top tier quality but it's still pretty good! Service was great and efficient! It gets busy but it's also really big inside so we never felt crowded. The only this I wasn't crazy about was the long list of rules. I understand why they have them but I got confused after the 3rd rule lol I'll be back though haha
It was a girls night out dinner on a Friday evening, and there was quite a packed house at 6:30. My friend was able to check us in and within 10 minutes of waiting we were able to be seated. The restaurant is quite big and very spacious. Our server was quick to get to us and explained us how it works for some first timers here like myself. It is an All You Can Eat for $35, there are additional cost for alcoholic beverages, soda, or tea. If you have a lot of left overs they will charge you. So do not over order. There are some items you are limited to ordering at a time, but don't fret, when you put another order in, they do come out fairly quickly. My favorite there was the hand rolls and also sashimi. The salmon was so fresh and fatty. The shrimp tempura is a must order! They have that batter perfect! It's so light and crispy and the shrimp inside is nicely fried. We also ordered the beef short ribs and oh my goodness, you got to try it. They really marinated it well. It was delicious! Our server was great, he was very professional and broke down the menu items for us. I think it's a great price for all you can eat with the quality of food they are serving. It's a lively atmosphere! Noise is moderate to loud since there can be a lot of people inside. So glad my friend recommended this place. I want to bring my husband here next time.
Everyone in my party enjoyed the food here. The customer service was friendly and the food came out fast considering it's all you can eat and the place was packed. They made it fairly easy for me to make reservations over the phone for the same day within the hour. Their shrimp tempura and various sushi rolls were delicious! Can't wait until my next visit.
Found this place while shopping with the wife and family in River Park, we didn't know it was an all you can eat but decided that 35 dollars was a decent price to pay and tried it out! The ambiance was definitely Japanese themed from the cherry blooms on top to the decorations on the wall, with 2 big TVs if you wanted to watch sports. Our waitress and staff that came around bussing tables as we ate were really on point for drinks and orders. We weren't expecting great food with it being all you can eat but we were pleasantly surprised, especially the sushi quality, tempura batter and habatchi steak/shrimp. I will say I was pretty disappointed in the ramen but that was the only thing I disliked and for an all you can eat I still chalk that up as a win. All in all of you're hungry and in the mood for some sushi, and shrimp/steak for a decent price I would highly recommend Tsukiji!
My husband and I went on a Friday night and it was packed, about 1.5 hour wait however we just went shopping in the area and wait time went by fast. I was told it would be better calling ahead and getting on the waitlist that way but we honestly didn't mind we just checked out the Barnes and noble and the home goods next door. The staff were so nice and friendly and the food came out quickly once seated. The short ribs on the teppanyaki side of the menu was my favorite of the night. It is all you can eat and served in small portions however you can easily ask for doubles of something you like. The sushi rolls were full serving sizes and all made with quality fish and ingredients. For 34.99 , all you can eat AND friendly service, you really can't go wrong. Will definitely come back with friends and family
